This audio tour, composed of dramatic fictions, stories and audio stimuli, is an invitation to wander through the shopping arcades like labyrinth. But, pay attention because you’ll have to make choices to reach an unexpected end. Dramawalker is a project by the Centro Dramático Nacional de España (CDN) based on geolocated audio fictions, which this time has come to Chile thanks to the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID), through the Spanish Cultural Centre in Santiago (CCESantiago), to be launched as part of the 2024 Teatro a Mil International Festival. This proposal, directed by Paula Aros Gho, will feature stories and identifiable places in the city centre of Santiago, through the accounts of two prominent Chilean playwrights, Nona Fernández and Ana Harcha, and the Spanish playwright resident of the CDN, Luis Sorolla. The audience will stroll through the shopping arcades of Santiago centre connected to a mobile device with headphones, taking an immersive journey through the audio fictions on the city centre. A voice guide will invite them to wander through the arcades like a labyrinth, to delve into fragments of simultaneous times, to make choices when faced with diverging paths. The audience is the main character who listens to what the corridors, the tiles, the posters, the ceilings and the people who inhabit, have inhabited and will inhabit that space have to say.
