Fernando Epelde - Centro Dramático Nacional

Fernando Epelde

Fernando Epelde (Ourense, 1980) is a Galician author, musician, and stage sound creator.

His work in dramaturgy offers various approaches to theatrecraft. His work ranges from documentary plays, adaptations of classics, and hybridization with other artistic languages such as cinema, dance, and opera.

Epelde’s published work offers a radical exploration of the fusion of various elements beyond the written text, such as images, hyperlinks, and music— always a bit of a challenge for anyone who might decide to stage them, but never for those who want to enjoy them.

In recent years, he has combined his own dramatic and musical productions under the pseudonym Chisme or Raposo. He has also worked as a stage sound creator on plays such as Metálica by Íñigo Guardamino, or the production of the Centro Dramático Nacional BLAST by Teatro en Vilo, among others.
