Oriol Puig Grau (Barcelona, 1992). Author and director, he won the Premio de la Critica de las Artes Escénicas de Barcelona Revelación in 2020 for the dramaturgy and direction of the play Karaoke Elusia, which premiered at the Sala Beckett and the Centro Dramático Nacional as part of the international project Extended Universe.
He has worked as both co-writer and director of the feature film El sitio de Otto, which premiered at the BCN Film Festival and was selected for various festivals such as the Atlántida Film Fest, Reteena, Cinespaña, and the London Spanish Film Festival. He also worked adapting Napalm en el corazón and translating Cacophony, both at Sala Beckett.
He has been a member of the 3rd edition of Els Malnascuts and is the author of one of the sound fictions of the Centro Dramático Nacional project in collaboration with Sala Beckett Dramawalker Poblenou. Additionally, he was one of the artists featured in the 14th edition of Creadors ENRESIDÈNCiA. In 2023, he received the Calderón de la Barca award for his play Massa brillant.
